Medium bodied, highly perfumed Syrah rippling with supple fruit and mineral accents. Fragrant herbs, blue flowers, bramble and graphite – all signatures of the region, and Miners Ridge vineyard more singularly. Fresh and savoury in structure, promising youthful vitality now, or longevity in the cellar for some time to come.
Winemaking Notes
100% Syrah, de-stemmed for various whole berry fermentations via ambient yeast. Pressed to a combination of large and small barrel formats, and stainless for 7 month elevage on lees before blending and bottling without fining or filtration.
